Serving as the surgical lead at Modern Dermatology, Dr. Alexander Dane is dedicated to delivering exceptional, natural-looking results. His meticulously honed technique spans from complex skin cancer removal to advanced facial cosmetic procedures like Deep Plane Facelifts and Neck Lifts, eyelid blepharoplasty, facial liposuction and fat transfer.
Dr. Dane is committed to enhancing, not altering, his patients' unique features and restoring the facial balance. His profound knowledge of facial anatomy has established him as a national lecturer at the American Academy of Dermatology and trusted teacher for other physicians from all over the United States on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery techniques.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Dane completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as Chief Dermatology Resident during his residency at Beaumont Health System.
Following his residency, Dr. Dane completed a prestigious ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. Having performed thousands of skin cancer surgeries and intricate reconstructions, he remains dedicated to global health through medical missions in underserved communities.
